FALL SEASON 2010!

I don't know about you, but I see some rather odd and unusual things this fall. The picture before this, was of our traditional Ash tree. Traditional in the aspect that it goes red about October 4th through the 10th. And finally blows away by October 17th.

With all the dryness this year, a phenomenon has taken place. It topped out red on September 17th, and as you see here on October 1st, is about to finish. In 40 years, I have never seen that tree do that. Funny about being obsessed with the fall trees and how they differ each year, or are the same. We are a little that way, aren't we? We are full, green, flush and lush. Then all of a sudden we drop our leaves, turn and blow away. The odd thing this year for me, was that, I didn't notice or pay attention to when that process started to go away too quickly. It was a shock to have missed each day of it's change. Let us always keep in mind, that every day is important, and to live it to it's fullness and glory. That way we will not miss anything. God's Word, not mine. Col. 3: 17
